The Wilde Theatre, Summer 2023

Join us for a Summer School like no other at the Wilde Theatre! Take part in this full show with a professional team leading you through two weeks of rehearsals and performances in the Wilde Theatre!

Everybody's Talking About Jamie (Teen Edition) is a coming of age musical with music by Dan Gillespie Sells and book and lyrics by Tom MacRae. The show is based on the true-life story of 16-year-old British schoolboy Jamie Campbell, as he overcomes prejudice and bullying to step out of the darkness and 'into the spotlight to become a sassy, fierce drag queen!

This show is a collaboration between the teams at Artemis College and South Hill Park. Funded and unfunded places are available!

Rehearsals begin on 24th July.

Final show: 6th August.

There will also be short weekend or evening workshops before the summer school (to cast specific solo roles and plan for costume).
